Paper Patter

Curious about what we ordered while we were at the 2013 Craft and Hobby Association winter show in California this week? We have a sneak peek for you.

But first, you might wonder what trends we noticed at the show. We saw lots of owls, lots of mason jars and tons of mustaches on products. Everyone had washi tape in all sorts of colors and patterns, it seemed. And we noticed the color trends seem to be going back to brighter, more cheerful hues.

Here’s a sampling of what will be arriving at the store in the coming months.

Basic Grey

We ordered products from three new Basic Grey’s lines — Hipster, Knee Highs and Bow Ties, and Mint Julep.

Farm House Papers

We fell in love with the colors and designs on Farm House Paper Company’s Country Kitchen line.

Bo Bunny

We ordered products from the Mamarazzi 2 and Surprise! birthday lines.

Webster’s Pages

Look for the New Beginnings and Romance lines to arrive this spring.

Lawn Fawn

Last fall, Zooey Deschanel raved about Lawn Sawn stamps in a celebrity gift guide in People magazine. Now you’ll have a chance to see what all the fuss is about. We ordered some great stamps, including a mason jar stamp. They’re cute and easy to color.

We R Memory Keepers

From We R we ordered new border punches, the envelope template, a rolling tote and new divided page protectors. We’ll also receive new camping paper from We R soon.

There’s more, but this is just a taste of what’s to come. New products should begin arriving at The Paper Boutique about the first week of February, so watch our Facebook page and your email for updates.
